Ayn Rand Essay Competition is a essay writing competition organized by the Ayn Rand Institute.
The competition aims to encourage students to seriously engage with Ayn Rand’s ideas, through reflection on her profound and influential novels.

What work is involved?
You will need select one of Ayn Rand's novels and read it extremely carefully. You will then write an essay reflecting on themes and values presented in the novel.
Your essay will be graded according to four criteria:
clarity,
organization,
understanding
relevance (staying on topic).
Am I eligible?
Students in grades 8-12 who are at least 13 years of age are eligible. There are different chapters of the competition you can enter.

Project management: there is a lot of work involved in completing the John Locke essay, and it will be your Ariton mentor's priority to ensure you stay on track.
