The student was acutely aware of the dangers of unsafe electric infrastructure, so he decided to explore ways of improving the situation in his community.
How

We helped the student identify the issue at hand with not just electrification at large, but specifically the safety aspect of existing installations.
We worked with the student to brainstorm solutions and finally zoom in on a small and feasible solution: circuit breakers, that at the same time had a great potential impact for the hospital.
We worked together to prepare and conduct expert interviews with local government officials, as well as executives of a private electricity company.
The student liaised with different stakeholders by himself, but we made sure he stayed on track and didn't miss his meetings despite busy class schedule. We also helped him draft and proofread emails to companies and organizations.
We also assisted the student in gathering project data and compiling a report that then made integral part of his university application.
